Settled in 1630, Scituate is a seacoast town in Plymouth County with a population of less than 20,000. Old Scituate Light is a historic lighthouse located on Cedar Point. It was completed in September 1811, making it the 11th lighthouse in the United States. The lighthouse was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
